Women’s Discipleship Group
St. John Neumann began offering the Walking with Purpose Program in September of 2015. Walking with Purpose is a Catholic women’s Bible study that aims to bring women to a deeper personal relationship with Jesus Christ by offering personal study and small group discussions that link our everyday challenges and struggles with the solutions given to us through the teachings of Christ and the Roman Catholic Church.
We will meet in the Faith and Family Center on Thursday evenings at 6:30, or Friday mornings at 9:15. Each meeting will begin with 30-minutes of large-group fellowship with light refreshments, followed by group prayer & welcome, then we will move into small groups at round tables of 8 women for 1 hour. Both Thursday evening and Friday morning will once again offer childcare.
We are excited to offer three study options for our 2018/2019 program. Please click on the session titles for more information about each program (session books will be purchased by SJN with your registration fee and distributed to you at the start of your study):
Keeping in Balance is a twenty-two week study offered fall through spring: “The pace and pressure of our lives can leave us feeling frazzled and out of control. God wants to support and help us so that we can be our best in every season of our lives.”
Fearless and Free is an eleven-week study being offered this fall: “We face the reality that life isn’t easy, even when we are doing the right thing. Suffering can slam into us, leaving us reeling. Journey through the book of Ephesians as we gain a firm foundation to stand on no matter what life throws our way. The more we are rooted in a deep understanding of just how crazy God is about each one of his daughters, the better we’ll be able to wrestle through life’s questions.”
Living in the Father’s Love is offered as a six-week study beginning in January: “Exploring the Gospels reveals our relationship with God and others. A perfect opportunity to complement your Lent.”
Our fall studies begin September 6 & 7, 2018.
